{"id":14807,"date":"2014-05-19T15:00:06","date_gmt":"2014-05-19T20:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/luisapiccarreta.co\/?p=14807"},"modified":"2014-04-25T18:51:21","modified_gmt":"2014-04-25T23:51:21","slug":"520-fifth-tuesday-in-easter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luisapiccarreta.co\/?p=14807","title":{"rendered":"5\/20  Fifth Tuesday in Easter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Today&#8217;s Gospel is from John 14: 27-31<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>Peace I leave with you:<br \/>\nMy Peace I give unto you; not as the\u00a0world giveth, do I give unto you.<br \/>\nLet not your heart be troubled; nor let it be afraid. \u00a0John 14:27<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/luisapiccarreta.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/J_Prince-of-Peace-Light-of-World.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14811\" src=\"http:\/\/luisapiccarreta.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/J_Prince-of-Peace-Light-of-World.jpg\" alt=\"J_Prince of Peace Light of World\" width=\"278\" height=\"115\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Letter #80 to Sister Remigia by the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreata<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My good daughter, Sister Remigia,<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your wishes for Easter and for St. Aloysius; but <span style=\"color: rgb(255, 0, 0);\"><strong>what I recommend is that you never lose peace, and that do not think of your miseries and weaknesses.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span> The more you think about them, the more you will feel them, and you will really make Jesus cry.\u00a0 On the other hand, <strong><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 0, 0);\">by not thinking of them, dear Jesus will cover them with His Love, and the Light of His Will will change them into fortitude and divine riches.\u00a0<\/span> Oh, how I wish you would occupy yourself with nothing but living from the Divine Will, to let sweet Jesus live always together with you.\u00a0 Never lose sight of Him, my daughter; never leave Him alone in your heart.\u00a0 May everything you do serve to court and love Jesus.\u00a0 He looks at everything you do, whether they are things directed to love Him and keep Him company within your heart<\/strong>.\u00a0 Oh, how embittered He remains when your external acts do not echo in your interior, bringing Him your kisses, your love, your longed for company\u2026 If you want to be a saint, live always with Jesus.\u00a0 He takes on the commitment to make of you His faithful copy, to the extent of being able to say:\u00a0 \u201cJesus has made of me another Jesus.\u201d\u00a0 These are His aims.\u00a0 My daughter, make Him content.<\/p>\n<p>Pray for me; and leaving you in the arms of the Divine Will, like a baby who lets her mama to everything to her, I say,<\/p>\n<p>Your most affectionate aunt,<\/p>\n<p>The little daughter of the Divine Will.<\/p>\n<p>Corato, June 26, 1939<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Gospel is from John 14: 27-31 Peace I leave with you: My Peace I give unto you; not as the\u00a0world giveth, do I give unto you.
