Get ready for a treat to see how the whole of\u00a0scripture is prophetic as every time I read the scriptures after I\u00a0\u00a0consumed the Eucharist, I find amazing predictions showing how\u00a0God even embedded Himself in the Eucharist. How all this unfolds from the Bread of Life to our Daily Bread demands the patience of Job and the study of someone who desires to run marathons. But before I explain the Eucharist, I would like to start with what is trying to end our Daily Bread: locusts.<\/p>\n

In Joel 2:25 God speaks of the invasions of locusts. While we have always applied this in regards of Israel\u2019s desolation for rejecting the Messiah, and her restoration, then redemption, while this is true, many\u00a0miss what applies also from the other sense for the Church.<\/p>\n

Prophecy has a dual function, always, an earthly and heavenly. Joel predicts the day of the Lord as:\u00a0\u201cBlow the trumpet in Zion,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>And sound an alarm\u00a0in\u00a0My holy mountain!\u201d (Joel 2:15)<\/span><\/p>\n

While most are\u00a0consumed with the earthly Mount Zion, they\u00a0forget; the Heavenly Mount Zion where the saints reside \u201cin My Holy Mountain\u201d and not \u201con My Holy Mountain\u201d, with the saints, the angels and with Christ, and from their the angels\u00a0will sound the Trumpet of God: \u201cBlow the trumpet\u00a0in\u00a0Zion,\u00a0<\/span>And sound an alarm\u00a0in\u00a0My holy mountain!\u201d (Joel 2:2).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is the place which i<\/span><\/span>n Hebrews speaks of heavenly\u00a0Mount Zion which is\u00a0the goal of the Christian to come to God through his continual access and a lifetime supplication to connect to the Heavenly Mount Zion:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut\u00a0you\u00a0have come to\u00a0Mount Zion\u00a0and to the\u00a0city of the living God, the\u00a0heavenly Jerusalem, to an\u00a0innumerable company of angels,\u00a0<\/span>to the general assembly and\u00a0church of the firstborn\u00a0who are<\/i>\u00a0registered in heaven, to\u00a0God the Judge\u00a0of all, to\u00a0the spirits of just men\u00a0made perfect,\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0Jesus the Mediator\u00a0of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than\u00a0that of<\/i>\u00a0Abel.\u201d\u00a0(Hebrews 12:22-24)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is the whole goal and process of salvation, that is, to transform us striving to become \u201cthe righteous\u201d who are \u201cmade perfect\u201d. This is the communion between the Church Militant on earth and the Church Triumphant in heavenly Mount Zion, where the saints, angels and The Trinity reside.<\/p>\n

This is the strive of the Christian.<\/p>\n
