THE PORTIUNCULA INDULGENCE
\n<\/strong>(THE PARDON PRAYER OF SAINT FRANCIS)
\n<\/strong>FEAST DAY CELEBRATED:
\nFROM VESPERS (NOON) ON AUGUST 1ST
\nTO MIDNIGHT ON AUGUST 2ND
\n<\/sup><\/strong>In the words of Saint Francis:<\/em>
\n\u0093O my brothers and sisters, I want you all to go to Heaven!\u0094
\n<\/em>\u00a0The Portiuncula Indulgence is a grace not to be missed<\/strong> \u2013 not only for yourself but for the many suffering souls in Purgator<\/strong>y.<\/p>\n

The conditions to obtain the Plenary Indulgence of the Forgiveness of Assisi (for oneself or for a departed soul) <\/strong>is as follows:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Sacramental Confession: to be in God\u2019s Grace (the Sacramental Confession can be done during the eight days before or after).<\/li>\n
  2. Participation in the Holy Mass and Eucharist.<\/li>\n
  3. Recitation of the Apostles Creed, Our Father and also a prayer for the Pope\u2019s Intention (such as an Our Father, Hail Mary, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Tell everyone of the magnitude of this gift. <\/em>Once again, we see the unfathomable Divine Mercy of God.<\/em><\/p>\n
