\u2026in a few words: What distinguishes the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta, from all the
\nothers?<\/p>\n

\u00a0From the Introduction to the book “Quando la Divina Volonta\u2019
\nregna nell\u2019anima” (“When the Divine Will reigns in the soul”), published by the
\nPious Association “Luisa Piccarreta” with ecclesiastical\u00a0 approval.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Where is the uniqueness of Luisa, that which distinguishes her
\nfrom all the others? Let us say it soon and with simple words: she is the first
\none to live in the Divine Will, in perfect imitation of the Humanity of Our
\nLord: “My food is to do the Will of my Father”\u2026 and in perfect imitation of the
\nMost Holy Virgin: “Fiat Mihi\u2026”<\/p>\n

The Saints and the Church have known until now the conformity
\nto the Will of God, the full abandonment, and even the union to the Will of God.
\nWe could take as examples of this, the concepts of St. Francis of Sales and of
\nSt. Vincent de Paul, among many, in the following expression: “To empty oneself
\nof oneself and to unite one\u2019s own will so completely to God that it becomes one
\nwith His\u2026”<\/p>\n

We could say: this is the highest point. And so, what is the
\ndifference between the teachings we are given through Luisa and this union of
\nwills? We will take the answer from the writings of Luisa. In Volume 14, on
\nOctober 6, 1922, being asked by Luisa how it could be possible that she was the
\nfirst one to live in the Divine Will after so many centuries and so many Saints
\nthe Church has had, Our Lord says:<\/p>\n

“\u2026And then, it is so true that I have called you as the first,
\nsince to no other soul, though dear to Me, did I manifest the way to live in my
\nWill, Its effects, and the wonders and the goods that the creature operating in
\nthe Supreme Volition receives. Check as many lives of Saints as you want, or
\nbooks of doctrines: in none of them will you find the prodigies of my Volition
\noperating in the creature and of the creature operating in my Will. At the most,
\nyou will find resignation, union of wills; but in not one of them will you find
\nthe Divine Will operating in her, and she in It. This means that the time had
\nnot come in which my Goodness was to call the creature to live in this sublime
\nstate. Even the way I make you pray cannot be found in anyone else. Therefore,
\nbe attentive. My Justice demands this, my Love is delirious; so my Wisdom
\ndisposes everything in order to obtain the intent. It is the rights, the Glory
\nof Creation, that We want from you.”<\/p>\n

\u00a0In other words, from the union of wills already known through
\nseveral Saints, Luisa moves on to the activity of the union \u2013 to the activity
\nand the life of the creature in the Divine Will.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This statement can be verified and confirmed by the reader, if he reads the Writings without prejudice and “with his mind opened to the light of the Truth”; <\/em>otherwise, “he will understand nothing”<\/em> (Volume 12, January 29, 1919).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
