P_Feast of Trumpets

The Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah
1/13/29 – Vol. 25

I was continuing my round in the acts of the Divine Fiat, and as I reached the point in which I would accompany the Prophets when the Divine Volition manifested Itself to them—the how and the when of the coming of the future Redeemer—and the Prophets longed for Him with tears, prayers and penances, making everything they did my own, because all this was the fruits of the Eternal Divine Fiat, I offered it in order to impetrate Its Kingdom upon earth.

But while I was doing this, my sweet Jesus, moving in my interior, told me: “My daughter, when a good is universal and must and can bring good to all, it is necessary that entire peoples—and if not everyone, a great part—know the good that they must receive, and with prayers, sighs, desires and works, they impetrate a good so great, in such a way that first the good they want is conceived in their minds, sighs, desires, works, and even in their hearts, and then is the good that they longed for given to them in reality. When a good that must be received is universal, it takes the strength of a people to impetrate it; on the other hand, when it is individual or local, one can be enough to obtain the intent.

“Therefore, before coming upon earth and being conceived in the womb of the Sovereign Queen of Heaven, I can say that I was conceived in the minds of the Prophets, and I confirmed and gave value to this sort of conception in them through My manifestations of the when and the how I was to come upon earth in order to redeem mankind. And the Prophets, faithful executors of My manifestations, acted as trumpeters, manifesting to the peoples, with their words, what I had manifested about My coming upon earth; and conceiving Me in their words, they made the news that the Word wanted to come upon earth fly from mouth to mouth. And by this, not only was I conceived in the word of the Prophets, but I remained conceived also in the word of the people, in such a way that all talked about it, and prayed, and longed for the future Redeemer.

9/29 Feast Day of the Archangels St. Michael, St. Gabriel, and St. Raphael

S_Archangels

The three Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael
are the only Angels named in Sacred Scripture.

The Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta the Little Daughter of the Divine Will, had a great love and respect for the Angels, evidenced by her prayer written when she was given the obedience to write her spiritual diary.

Thus Luisa begins Volume One in the Book of Heaven, The Call of the Creature to the Order, the Place and the Purpose for which He was Created by God“:

In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Out of pure obedience, I begin to write.
You know, O Lord!, the sacrifice it costs me, such that I would submit myself to a thousand deaths rather than write one single line of the things that have passed between me and You. Oh my God!, my nature trembles, it feels crushed and almost undone at the mere thought of it. O please!, give me strength, oh Life of my life, that I may do the holy obedience! . . .

. . . Most Holy Virgin, lovable Mother (The Blessed Mother), come to my aid, obtain for me from Your sweet Jesus and mine, grace and strength in order to do this obedience. Saint Joseph, my dear protector, assist me in this circumstance of mine. Archangel Saint Michael, defend me from the infernal enemy, who puts so many obstacles in my mind to make me fail this obedience. Archangel Saint Rafael and you, my Guardian Angel, come to assist me and accompany me, and to direct my hand, that I may write nothing but the truth. . . .

Volume 11 – September 29, 1912

The Divine Will in Jesus is the center, the life and the origin of everything in Him. Jesus is the One who disposes the intentions of one who lives in His Will, in whatever he does. Only Jesus is enough for him, while earthly things do not attract his will; so, if he eats, it is only according to the Will of God.

The Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta the Little Daughter of the Divine Will:

I am writing of past things. I was thinking to myself: “The Lord spoke to some about His Passion, to some about His Heart, to some others about His Cross, and many more things. I would like to know which soul has been favored the most by Jesus.”

My adorable Jesus came and told me: “My daughter, do you know who has been most favored by Me? The soul to whom I manifested the prodigies and the power of My Most Holy Will. All other things are parts of Me, while My Will is the center, the life and the holder of everything. My Will directed My Passion, gave life to My Heart, and exalted the Cross. My Will understands everything, catches everything, and activates everything – My Will is greater than anything. As a consequence, the one to whom I spoke about My Will has been the most favored, above everyone and everything.

How much you should thank Me for having admitted you to the secrets of My Volition! Even more, the one who is in My Will is also in My Passion; she is My Heart; she is all the beauty of My Cross and she is My very Redemption. Nothing dissimilar exists between us. Therefore, I want you completely in My Will, if you want to take part in My goods.”

Another time I was thinking about what would be the best way to offer our actions, our prayers, etc. – whether as reparations, adoration, etc. My always benign Jesus told me: “My daughter, one who lives in My Will and does her things because I want it so, does not need to dispose her intentions.Since she is in My Will, as she operates, prays or suffers, I Myself dispose these things the way I please. Do I like the reparation? I placed them for reparation. Do I like love? I take them as love. Being the owner, I make of them whatever I please. It is not so for those who are not in My Will: they dispose, and I respect their will.”

Another day, having read in a book about a saint who, first had almost no need of food, and then needed to feed herself very often – her necessity being such that she would cry if they didn’t give her something – I remained concerned, thinking about my state, since once I used to take very little food and I was forced to bring it up, and now I take more and I don’t bring it up. And I was saying to myself: “Blessed Jesus, how is this? I consider this a mortification for me. My wickedness leads me to these miseries.”

And Jesus came and told me: “My daughter, do you want to know why? I am here to make you content. At the beginning, in order to render a soul completely Mine, to empty her of all that is of the senses and place into her all that is Celestial and Divine, I detach her even from the necessity of food, in such a way that she almost doesn’t need it. So, the soul rises high, neglecting and ignoring everything: her life is Celestial.

After I have trained her well, for years and years, no longer fearing that the senses might shade her – since after the soul has tasted the heavenly it is almost impossible that she might appreciate earthly things, which are nothing other than mud and slime – I give her back to ordinary life, because I want My children to take part in the things that I created for love of them – but according to My Will, not to theirs. It is only for love of these children that I am forced to feed the others. Further, since many use natural goods with attachment and not according to My Will, it is for Me the most beautiful reparation to see these souls who, like celestial children, take the necessary things with sacrifice, detachment, and according to My Will.

How can you say that there is wickedness in you for this? Not at all. What’s the evil of taking, in My Will, a little more or a little less of what is nothing other than an earthly thing? Nothing…nothing. There cannot be any evil in My Will, but always good, even in the most insignificant things.”

Dear Mother, by your heart thus transfixed, obtain for me the virtue of fraternal charity and the gift of understanding. Hail Mary….
  7. I grieve for you, O Mary most sorrowful, for the pangs that wrenched your most loving heart at the burial of Jesus. Dear Mother, by your heart sunk in the bitterness of desolation, obtain for me the virtue of diligence and the gift of wisdom. Hail Mary….

Let Us Pray:

Let intercession be made for us, we beseech You, O Lord Jesus Christ, now and at the Hour of our death, before the throne of Your mercy, by the Blessed Virgin Mary, Your Mother, whose most holy soul was pierced by a sword of sorrow in the hour of Your bitter Passion. Through You, O Jesus Christ, Saviour of the world, Who with the Father and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns world without end. Amen.

7/20 Why Is Reparation So Important?

BECAUSE BY MAKING REPARATION, WE SHARE IN CHRIST’S REDEMPTIVE SUFFERING!
By: Father Robert Altier
Children of Fatima
What Is Reparation?
In the summer of 1916, in the second apparition of the Angel to the children, he asked them to offer every
suffering as an act of reparation to God. On three occasions, in May, July, and October of 1917, our Lady instructed the children to make reparation for the sins against God and the sins against our Lady’s Immaculate Heart. However, nothing made as much impact on the children as the July vision of hell which caused all three, but especially Francisco, to take on many penances and offer them as acts of reparation.
Reparation is the repairing or making up for the offenses against God. This covers a wide variety of areas from the fact of Original Sin to our own personal sins and even to the sins of others no matter how large or small the offense might be. God is the author of justice, but He is also the norm of justice. This means that He can determine what, if any, atonement needs to be made for sin. In other words, He can simply write off our sins without requiring any reparation, but normally He will not do this because reparation is actually something that is good for us.
God’s Justice Is Not Just A Concept
We can see just how grievous our sins are to God by the fact that He did not just write them off, but sent His own Son to suffer and die, i.e., to make reparation for our sins. In this we see how important justice is to God. Justice is not just a concept, it is a truth that must be upheld and He did not back away from what justice requires even though, if we think in terms of human relationships, sending His Son to die would be much more difficult than just writing off the sins. Through His suffering and death, Jesus made atonement and reparation for our sins, but in His mercy He saved a little bit for us to do. This is not only so that we could make up, to some degree, for our own sins, but that we can actually have a share in the work of redemption and salvation. St. Paul tells us in his Letter to the Colossians that he makes up in his body for what is lacking in the suffering of Christ for the sake of His body, the Church. It is not that Jesus did not do enough, but that the members of His Mystical Body would also share in this work.
How Can We Make Reparation For Our And The Worlds Sins?
By uniting our prayers, works and sufferings to those of Jesus, we can actually make some reparation for our offenses against the justice of God. Because we are members of Christ, our offerings become part of the work of our Lord which was to make reparation for the sins of the whole world. Therefore, our offering not only makes reparation for our sins, but for the sins of others as well. I said earlier that God did not just wipe out our sins because the need to make reparation is better for us than to just have our sins forgiven. Making reparation helps us to understand the gravity of sin, but it also helps us to avoid sin so that we do not offend God any more. If our sins were just overlooked, we would think we could do anything and have no consequences. More than this, God allows us to love Him by making reparation. When we love someone we do not want to offend that person and, if we do commit an offense, we want to make it up to that person rather than just sweeping it under the rug. Love of God will drive us to want to make reparation.
As a child of God and as a member of Christ, strive to satisfy the justice of God by making reparation for your sins and those of others.

Volume 28; April 12, 1930
…And He (Jesus), moving in my interior and clasping me (Luisa) in His arms, told me:  “My daughter, if you want to defend Me in a way that the offenses might not reach Me, Repair Me in My Divine Will, because as you Repair in It, you will form a Wall of Light around Me, and if they offend Me, the offenses will remain outside of this Wall of Light – they will not enter inside; and I will feel defended by this Wall of Light – that is, by My own Will – and will remain as though Safe.  So, your love in My Divine Will will form for Me a Wall of Love, of light; your adoration, your reparations, will form for Me a Wall of lLght, of Adorations and of Reparations, in such a way that the lack of love, the scorns of creatures will not reach Me, but will remain outside of these Walls.  And if I feel them, I will feel them as though from afar, because My daughter has surrounded Me with the Impregnable Wall of My Divine Will.  My daughter, the love, the reparations, the prayers outside of My Fiat are just little drops, while, in My Divine Will, the same things, the same acts, are Seas, Gigantic Walls, Endless Rivers.  As Immense as My Will is, so It renders the acts of the creature.”
